They released a new software version today.
You need to download and install it to get back to crunching.

Ha Ha Ha

I did it was stopped when I checked it and in the box was a link to the latest version, with an update now message. I d/l unpacked it and made a new folder in the old one and set it up, already on link 250 lol

I like software that says "hey, Stoopid, Update me so I can get some work done" It is nice to see they understand I need a message to tell me that. (I really wish all the clients did this)

Mike

EDIT> I am going to shut down the main power to replace some 2 way switches with 3 way switches, and rewire a few breakers this afternoon but it should only be down an hour or two at most.

Sorry for the inconvience,

Mike

Ohhh, so :(

I downloaded the Mac client (this really would be great for an old and tired Mac). It is the latest version availible. I start it and it says "Download new client". Ohhh - thats nice.
Look around, follow the link - only Windows-version is available. :(
The "old" Mac version does not work - no new Mac-version finished.

I'll look around now and then - I hope they fix the Mac-version soon! :)

To the best of my knowledge, MacDefender is working on a new Mac client now and should have it out soon. Apologies about going forward without a new mac client but it was shredding our server and we had to get fixed quickly.

One reason it's important for the team to get more members is the 3 client cap.

I've copied the email below so everyone has a chance to see the latest news.

"Dear RebelAlliance,

Thank you for supporting the DLV project - we really appreciate your participation, and we are extremely happy with the progress of the project and are looking forward to some exciting new features in DLV 2.0 when it is released.

Since the release of DLV 1.9 for Windows we have been closely monitoring the progress of the project and the number of links validated by each user/client. As you may be aware, the DLV project has a 3 client limit per person (this is for the time being and will be adjusted in the future) - and unfortunately we have discovered that a few people were bypassing this limit and running more clients than they should have been!

We have emailed these users and have explained the importance of the client limit to them. In addition, we have released a 'fixed' version of the DLV client which we urge all of you to please upgrade to by visiting: http://www.readyresponse.org/update_dlv.php and we have also implemented a 'link cap' which ensures that no matter how many clients a user runs, they won't be able to break the daily link limits.

Macdefender is also working on a update to the Mac DLV client - and this will be released shortly. I'd like to say thank you to the Mac users for their patience, and a thank you to Macdefender for all his hard work.

Thank you for your support!

Ready Response / Red Library"

I agree freewolf. Otherwise this would turn into another DIMES type project. I like the 3 client limit. The only way to out produce another team is by the amount of team members.
