New TA Sentinel Website

I guess the "old one" (what was being used up until a few days ago AFAIK) is still running but now everybody's migrated to a new one somewhere?

Oh well, I have no interest in "project hopping" every few months with this new "TAS" thing, so I'll just pass for now, as I have way too much other stuff that needs attention anyway. 🙁

You're not guaranteed to always get the big work units, you basically get whatever Stanford shovels your way 😛.

True, but you increase your odds by running both with Big WUs enabled and the -advmethods flag. If you're running as a service, you'll have to add this flag through the registry (instead of tacking it on to the end of the shortcut). Let me know and I'll dig up the details again if this is the case. 🙂

And BTW, I run with Big WUs and -advmethds, and have been getting large ones (including lots of 320 pointers) almost all the time lately.

1/ Shut down that instance through the Services manager snap-in
2/ Run regedit and go to key HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\<service name> and edit the entry ImagePath, adding whatever flags you wish to the end. Exit regedit.
3/ Re-open the Services manager snap-in, and verify that your changes appear there, and then restart the service.
Or, if you want to be really brave and really lazy, you could check out the utility in this thread. 😉

I am not running as a service (Because I need to start and stop it too much. If it is running while I am trying to record and compress video at the same time I lose some frames...) so I added the flags to the shortcut. I will let you know if I run into any problems. 🙂

Perhaps you could make batch files using "net start" and "net stop" to pause and resume the service... Of course, that may not work; I've not tried it to know whether it does or not. 😕

Woot! Glad to have you aboard Remy - we could really use your help, especially with those dutch heffers gaining on us.

Burgers anyone? 😉

Welcome to TAS, RemyCanad 🙂

The BigWUs give double points!

We'll only be doing F@H for about 10 more days. Then it's off to UD!
