New TA Cuber w/ setup question

Just downloaded and installed the distributed net client and got the following message:
[Apr 04 04:19:29 UTC] Automatic processor type detection did not
recognize the processor (tag: "7541:05D0&quot😉

I've got a K6-III+ installed on an Asus P55T2P4. My bios doesn't "correctly" id the + series processors, but I tested using benchmarks and see that the power of the processor is being utilized.

Is this message more an informative thing, it will communicate with the dnet server and let them know what CPU I have. OR will this impact the actual performance.

Any ideas?

Boy that board brings back memories, my first real overclock board. cpu message is just for your info. anyway probably someone else can answer a lot of your questions better than i can. Just thought i would welcome you and your t2p4. Have fun cracking.🙂

Yeah, I think I have this MOBO pretty much maxed out.

K6-III+ @ 502MHz (83MHz FSB x 6) 192MB 72pin SIMMs! 😎

This weekend I'm putting together a 1.2GHz T-bird rig to keep this bad boy company. We'll get those Dutch cows yet!

I notice TAcube is contributing to OGR as well, is that an across-the-board (borg) percentage or does it vary by participant?
