I'm building a new athlon 1.4ghz, Asus A7M266, 512MB Ram, 40GB Hard drive, 32MB DDR Video card. This is the first system that I have every put together by myself and I want to get through the initial setup as perfect as possible. So what I'm asking is need to know the right and simpliest way to get up and running with this new motherboard. This means formating the hard drive and loading the operating system for the first time. Please someone help me.
