I want a very good gaming system for a resonable price($1700).
I already have some of my parts, mostly external including, (monitor,speakers,keyboard,mouse,case,fan controller,drive,floppy drive,PSU,fans)this is all about $500. so the next items need to be about $1200
This is what I need and there price range.

-Mobo, within $190
-Ram, about $115
-CPU, anywhere from $180-$270
-DVD Burner- about $50
-OS- Microsoft Windows XP
-Video Card, anywhere from $0- $300
-HDD, WD Raptor 74GB 10,00 RPM- $180

Tell me what you think I should get>

That's good news because I can't get my new computer untill around christmas time.
 
I would post a topic when it is around christmas then. Parts change all the time. Just do research until then. Then you will know what would be good and you can make your own decisions and then post here.

So should I just save all of my money untill then and get the newer stuff or should I buy stuff once I get some of the money?
