Hello. I'm a day trader on an archaic Dell4500/478 socket/ intel 845pe/P4 w/ maxed out 1GB RAM. I'm smoking fast!!! Not!! Looking to upgrade to a new system. Should I have one builded for by a local geek or support dell, HP, Gateway. I want this sucker to be fast...
I've learned somethings about hardware but not enough to take the chances of frying a new system, and i'm definielty not interested in overcloking. However, I run several apps at a time. One direct acces trading platform, several IM's, a couple of chat rooms, live news wire, and have two experienced traders broadcasting their platforms all through cable internet. I'm suprised my system doesn't tanked all the time

Mother board, not sure but I'm liken native support of DDR2 1066 Asus P5K and some of the P35 gigabyte boards.
Video cards: need 4 monitors may uprgrade to 6. I'm doing to 2D work and not interested in gaming so is 256MB card enough?
Do I need cooling fans??
