I just put together a new system based on Soltek nForce2 MB, XP 2200+ CPU, 512MB PC2700 RAM, and MadDog GeForce4 Ti 4200 VC.
I believe I've done everything right (this is not the first time building a new system), but the darn thing won't even beep on me :(
I've tried removing all peripherals, clearing CMOS, etc... but no luck.... Could the MB be toast?
TIA

Make sure the motherboard is grounded property. All the screws are within their approprite solder circles.
Also make sure your CPU fan is plugged properly into the motherboard. Thing won't run if the CPU fan is not detected.
Check the voltage selector and on-ff switch on the back of the PS.

Then again your PS could be dead. or...plan B.

Was it DOA or did you try to overclock or something. Also where did you buy it from?
