He may purchase a second one in the future.

Why not?

You really should be going 2 gigs now. Perhaps cut some corners and get slower rated ram and 2 gigs rather than fast 1.

Is there any 2x1024 you could recommend that would still be around that price?

The Trio (or True Power 3) is made by Seasonic. Their are only 2 PSUs from Antec that are made by Seasonic, the NeoHE and True Power 3. The Truepower (II & I), Smartpower, and Neopower are all made by CWT. Most CWT supplies don't have Fuhjyyu caps, but the Antec CWTs have those crappy Fuhjyyu caps that shorten the PSUs life. Comprende?

Unless its in the very near future, he would be much better off with getting a single high end card than two GT's

Why not intel for the performance/price?

I didn't say it would be around that price...I said to cut corners. Such as getting a motherboard for around $80 or perhaps a enhance power supply.

Thanks for the suggestions. But I've lost track of Intel's latest CPUs..in terms of price and speed, what would be around the same as the X2 4600+?
