New system start problems with AsusP4PE-XP,SP1

After I reinstalled windows XP and SP1 and then defragmented my harddisk something must have gone wrong!
Windows now boots very fast but i have to wait for about 3 minutes until certain programs like Outlook or 3DMark2002SE or the system information panel pop up. After 3 minutes, everything works fine...Strange thing is, I installed the same things on a second computer (AMD system), and the situation is exactly the same!!
Can anyone please help me, thank you all.
