New System Questions / Intel 6300 & DDR2-667

Hey guys,
quick question, how well will 2x1gb of ddr2-667 work wiht an asus p5b and intel core2duo6300??

I have to get a new power supply cause my antec true430 doesn't have the 24-pin connector. This was an unexpected cost and i can't afford ddr2-800 ram.

The plan for the system is:
Asus p5b
Intel 6300
Corsair ddr2-667 Value Select (2x1gb)
MSI NX7600GT-VT2D256E
WesternDigital Cavier SE WD3200KS 32Gb
Enermax ELT500AWT Liberty 500w
and my old antec SOHO file server case

i guess the question is how effective will this be? will the valueselect ram hit ddr2800? will this work for overclocking the core2 6300?
