New System problems

I am trying my first attempt at putting a complete system together for the first time. I am using an AMK 3333 case w/ Enermax 350 watt PS, MSI K7 Master Motherboard, Athlon 1.4, and Crucial DDR-RAM. I put the system together very slowly/carefuly, being as methodical as I could in order to (hopefully) ensure everything went right. Well, it didn't. Everything seemed to be going well enough, until I tried booting the system up. Everything acts normal, I get all the system lights, hard drive lights, etc., all the fans spin up also. However, all I can get is a Video BIOS screen, nothing else. I've tried everything imaginable for hours now, and I can't get it to work. I've tried various video cards, none worked. I even disconnected everything that wasn't absolutely essential to booting the computer (CD ROM, floppy, Hard drive, sound card), so that I was left with only the cpu, motherboard, and ram, and STILL I could not get past the BIOS screen. After awhile I noticed that the "AGP Power Supply" connector wasn't plugged in, so I thought "well there's my problem!" Plugged that in, same problem. Also of note, the Motherboard comes equipped with an Onboard LED Diagnostic Display, which gives me 3 reds and 1 green (which, according to the manual, indicates some sort of video problem). So, needless to say, am exhausted and at a loss. Any help is greatly appreciated, as I just don't know what to do.

What vid card? Follow member fxsts' instruction

<< Make sure that your AGP card got a clean connection (wipe it with your shirt if it's not), push your card in firmly, and try other cards if it does not work with one. >>

. Clear your BIOS set init display in BIOS to AGP(if that is your card type). Repost your results or nonresults. Turn on your PM function your member profile also as some members might have suggestions that they would send that way.

Well I have tried with both a brand new Geforce3 as well as an older Geforce2 that I know works just fine.

Do you have version 1 which supports 100 MhZ FSB or version 1.1 which supports 133 MhZ FSB? Also what version Thunderbird do you have 200 MhZ or 266 MhZ?
