put all this together, get it working, load all latest drivers, and install 3DMark2001. let that run... looks good (better then my voodoo5, thats 4 sure)

final score is only 2248

thats not right. i know i should be getting in the 5000s at LEAST

looked at the fps's and such... way too low for a high end system like this.

does anybody have ANY idea what could be going on? thanks

I would start by getting rid of that SBLive. I know it's unrelated to 3DMark2001, but never liked SBLive after my Abit debacle. Try tweaking the BIOS settings. That would really be your first start.

Did you try the Benchmarks before the service pack? I never install the service packs. But, I'm no tweaker either. But, I have run my main system 24/7 for 11 months without a hickup.

fortega: thx for the link... just installed those, as well as upping my agp aperture size, and goign down to det 12.40 (heard they were better)

starting up 3dmark2001 now.... we'll see what i get

hamburgerpimp: i didnt.... right after i installed win2k i updated to sp2

I have a similar system ..I get a mark of 5750 ..you should get something a bit higher due to yer ddr system 😉

kay.... the agp miniport driver seems to have done it..... im getting 5351 now.

im sure with some more tweaking ill be able to pull it higher, but im done for the night.

if you guys could point me to some sites that culd help me tweak, id really appreciate it :]

thanks bros 😀
