New system needs to be built

Alright, I generally like to do this myself, but with being busy and lacking current technology knowledge I find it easier to get some general ideas and morph them to my situation. I have a fairly tight budget, but I'd like to get the best computer possible for the money.

It will be used for some light-moderate gaming (max graphics aren't important), maybe some audio and video editing, and general internet/word use. There will be some light overclocking possibilities, but would rather not rely on that (stability is more of a concern).

Any help would be sweet as to the general platform and some motherboard hints, but of course a full system wouldn't hurt 😉

You might want a case with a 24-pin power supply though. THe one above doesn't have it. You might be able to get away with it though.

oops, forgot about that! 😱

Eh, any recommendations on a more sufficient case? A little more is fine with that (as long as it still has a psu with it). I'm downgrading the video to 9600-9800 pros as they'll do just fine in this scenario, leaving more room for periphrials and other smallish upgrades (120gb hd)

Sorry for annoyingly bumping, the purchasing will be rather soon and I can't find anywhere in specs about the PSUs that come with the cases, so I can't be sure if it has a 24-pin action or not.

Oh. Look for ATX2.0. Antec TruePower II (or SmartPower II) 400W should be fine. IIRC it's around $60 at newegg. I'm not sure I recommend that motherboard though. DOn't tell me you're ordering *really* soon? I'd recommend a higher-end mothreboard though.
