Ok, my new system is up and running and everything seems to be working properly. Here are my system spec's:

Lian-Li PC-60 case
ASUS A8N SLI deluxe
AMD Athlon 64 3200+
Thermaltake Venus 12 CPU fan
Crucial PC-3200 DDR 512MB x2 (1GB total)
Segate 7200.8T 250MB SATA HD
EVGA 6800GT 265MB
NEC DVD+/-RW 16x
3.5" Sony Floppy drive
CoolMax 400W Silent Switching Pwr Supply
And last but not least.... my cool New Egg sticker!!!!

My question for you pro's.... what kind of burn-in procedures should I do for new systems? (CPU, RAM.... ) How long should I let the system burn in?

Thanks for any help!

well if you overclock you can always see what type of speeds/ temps you get. if not just play games and enjoy the better FPS and eye candy vs. and older system.

In my experience, burn in doesn't work:

Either the combination of mobo, CPU, RAMs, etc can handle the overclock or not.

If they can't, no amount of burn in will change anything.

You can run Prime95 for 24 hrs or so. Personally I never bother. If it runs stable during heavy gaming, then I'm happy.
