New System hangs on screensaver and games. Please Help

New System hangs on screensaver, games and sometimes when downloading.

Abit Kt7
Thunderbird 750
128 meg Mwave 133 ram
Staelth II video
No overclocking

Just put together. Could it be the wrong memory?

What kind of Ram does Mwave sell?

Make sure you're using the newest via 4 in 1 drivers Via I believe is the correct link..

Could be an AGP problem, but if you have a power supply that's not good enough it could cause the same problems.

Also, is the Stealth an older card? Make sure the drivers are up to par on that as well.

That's all I can think of at the moment.

don't know what ram mwave uses but tests ok in Sandra

Display adapter is Stealth g460

power supply is not one specified by AMD only max 250 watts

borrowed a Voodoo 3 2000 PCI card and it eliminated 90% of locking. Locked one time on screensaver today and once on desktop.
