new system and new to oveclocking

Hello new to the form but have read it for some time.

This is the list of the parts I have now and put togethere.
MB-DFI-NF4 Lanparty UT Ultra D
CPU- AMD64 3700 Vience core
Video- EVGA GF 6800GT
Ram- 2x512MB OCZ400 rev2
Hard Drive- One Segate 200G Sata and one Segate 300G sata
DVD- Plextor double Layer DVD Recorder
PSU - Zippy 500 wats
Sound- Sodblaster audigy2 ZS platnium ( wish I had got somthing difrent here)
Heat sink- XP90C ( fan is a Antec 92 mm my old PC craped out before I could order a better one)
Case- P160 with front and rear 120mm fans.
Monitor- Hyundai L90D+
Speakers-Logitech Z5500D

Using Bios number 310 on the main board

My last System had a pentium 2.4C on a asus MB but I had no luck overcling it realy and was hoping for some good advice on how to OC this new system.

Welcome to AT:)

I would recommend reading Zebos "Quick and dirty O/C guide" thats stickied at the top of this forum, then if you don't understand something post back with specific questions.

And your CPU is either a 3700+ San Diego, or perhaps a 3800+ Venice. There is no such animal as a 3700+ Venice.
