New system advice

Hi all!

I'd like to upgrade my PC. I have quite alot of hardware
accumulated over the past few months that will do the
trick so all I'm really looking to get is a CPU and mobo.

Stuff I already have (that affects my upgrade options):

- BFG 6600GT AGP
- 4x 512MB Kingston KVR PC3200 (good chance they can do 225-250mhz)
- Antec Sonata with 2x 120mm fans
- OCZ PowerStream 520w
- 2x 120GB SATA HDD drives

I have a budget of about $300 to $400. Not neccesarly
looking to buy new. A good overclocking combo is defi-
netly a big plus.

Main stuff I'll do on it game and heavy Photoshop work.

Thanks ahead of time!

Off the top of my head would be the MSI K8N Neo2 Platinum, since you have an AGP card, and an Athlon 64 3000+ Venice core.

Great oc ability and performance.

But doesnt the AMD-64 Venice core have issues running
4 sticks of double-sided memory?

i believe it has to run it in 2T mode instead of 1T
