I just built a new system, and I'm very impressed with the AS8.

It's a very sweet board if you don't want to make the plunge to PCI Express and DDR2. The µGuru software is the best of its kind that I've used.


(Btw, you can save your "Should've gotten an AMD64" banter. 😛 😉 )
 
I miss the socket7 days...

You could use AMD or Intel with an Intel chipset.

Like gasoline dropping below a buck a gallon, something that will not happen again. Ever.
