I say the new Superman (if they plan on making more movies) should be the guy who plays him in the Tv. series "Smallville" .... Tom Welling !

Looks like the Original Superman from the first movie.
 
Unfortunately, Tom Welling can't act to save his life. He just stands there and smiles the whole damn show, with the occasional deer in the headlights look thrown in for variety. He, like most of the rest of the cast, was chosen for his looks. I watch Smallville but I'm not proud of it. 🙂

Eh? Tom Welling is probably one of the better actors on Smallville. He's proven it, he's got what it takes to fill Reeve's sizable shoes.
