i liked STP first 3 cds... but after #4 i don't know what to expect

You see i dont know your financial situation, hell i hope it is not as bad as mine though. i am a poor college student, with more loan payments than defunk .com, but i will tell you this, if i truly like a band, like the countring crows or staind or tool, i go and suport them, but saving up for a couple of weeks and getting their cd. what you cant afford to save 50 cents every week? btw, go to bestbuy, tool's cd was only 11 dollars. i am sure stp's will be around the same.

First of all, the stores don't make much money off of selling CDs. Second, it can be more than an hour of entertainment, you do own it. You can listen to it more than once. You never said anything about a financial situation. You said that you wouldn't support them because your $1 won't make them much richer. It's your attitude about it that makes you a horrible person.
 
#4 was different but still good imo

their new song seems to be like sour girl, which was one of maybe 2 or 3 radio friendly songs off #4

i hope the whole cd isn't like that but either way it's still good enough for me

ok, so lets see, the band get 1 dollar, and lets say that there are about 1.3 million people that think the exact same way as you do. so then that means that the record company will not get their 5 million dollars, but wait, whats worst is that the band doesnt get their money either.


well, you know, all bands have a miailing address, why dont you mail them the money, that way you can cut off the middle man.

most of the songs are that magical 3min radio friendly size

...i'll buy it anyways, just hope its not a sourgirl/pop hard rock CD (like 3doors down, creed, etc).

I heard this new album is gonna be more like the older ones... like Core and purple... No. 4 was a flop, I guess they're going back to the old school way of writing their songs.

i love stp. i will by their cds till the bitter end. I personally think, from what i've heard of it so far, that this next album will be better than #4
