So I added a credit card to my account to buy some games. Then I added money to wallet and didnt realize it defaulted to the new one. Now, I can't use the market till the 18th.

Anyone know if having a full set and not making the badge stops you from getting boosters?

I've been getting one booster about every other week, but haven't seen one in over a month now. I wonder if the badge I have ready to make is making me ineligible for boosters.

If you're wondering why I'm saving the badge, I'm going to make all the badges I can when the winter sale happens, so I can get a bunch of the winter badge cards, and sell them for $.80 each the first day.

I don't know for certain, but I wouldn't think it would impact your ability to get boosters. I believe I have heard that you are still eliglbe for boosters even if you have maxed out the badge level.

I like your strategy. The downside, of course, is that the higher you are in level, the greater your chance of getting a booster pack. So the longer you wait to craft a badge, the longer you wait to get those increased odds of a booster.

Now, if you're already level 100 or something, I guess it doesn't matter.

FWIW, I went three weeks in a row with getting a booster on Sunday. That ended three weeks ago. I haven't received one since. I'm level 21. Coincidence or is something going on? I have no idea. I think it was just coincidence.

I've never received a booster, but I guess I only have 10 games that are eligible. Out of curiosity, how many do you have that gives you such a (what I consider) high rate, and what's your level?

I'm only level 23, so I guess I got lucky with booster packs at first.

Good to hear someone else around my level went dry for a while. After seeing a booster each week, then every other week, then nothing for a long stretch had me wondering.

Yep.

Turns out you will NOT get any boosters if you have a badge ready to be made.

I made the badge I was holding onto tonight, and not ten minutes later I got a booster pack. Going to hold onto all boosters and make sure I don't get a full set until the winter sale.
