New Star Wars DVD's?

These were released due to fanboy/nerd demand. Lusac did this for them. I've heard they look like ass and are comparable to the laserdiscs. Lucas didn't want to spend much time on them because these aren't the films that he wanted to release (his words).

The big super-ultimate boxed set with all 6 movies are due out next year on DVD. This will be another version of the films. For one, they are placing a CGI Yoda into Episode 1, as he was a puppet for that film.

Cry all you want, but I LOVE the new versions of the films except for Greedo shooting first as that changes Han's character dramatically.

What about the Hayden Christiansan ghost appearing instead of old vader? To me that's right up there with Greedo shooting first. The greedo change changed who han solo was. The young Anakin ghost says that Anakin died when he went to the dark side and became vader and ignores vader being redeemed by killing the emperor.

good point, but to me, that's minor.

I also like the new music at the end of Jedi. No more "yub-yub".
