It says its an Untitles Star Trek "Prequel"

Update* They have added the cast.....welcome a movie staring the ST: Enterprise Crew.

prequel to WHAT? there have been so many franchises.

but what would be cool is some sort of messed up tie-in of the best people from all the franchises. so Picard and Kirk and Sisko and NO-ONE FROM VOY SINCE IT SUCKED and maybe Archer.

dump em on a planet full of tribbles, with only 1 phaser between the 4 of them. Survivor: Trek!

It depends. If they do another craptastic remake of "Enemy Mine," it will indeed suck. If they do a movie more like the third season has been, it could be good, but after Nemesis, I won't get my hopes up.
 
I had high hopes for Nemesis. It is unfortunate that it sucked. The editing was especially horrible for that film.

They just need to do a bigass DS9 style war movie and it would be awesome.... I really grow tired of watching glorified 2 hr episodes of TNG.

The writers can't keep continuity very well just dealing with the show and past Star Trek series. How are they going to keep it when they throw a movie in while the series is still being made? They won't and it will be lesser quality because of that.

I think they should use the Voyager crew in a movie, that would be an interesting one. Maybe make it from Voyagers past, before they got home to the Alpha quadrant.

They are talking with Shatner about a Kirk appearance.
 
That would take LOT of makeup to make Shatner look like he did in the 60's 😀

Actually, this would be cool: Have Archer go through the whole movie, then at the end of the plot, have Al appear saying "Ziggy says there's a 98% chance you need to do one more thing...", then have him bop the vulcan chick. He then starts to light up and leaps home, finishing BOTH series. 😉
