While browsing the Internet quickly trying to find a phone number, I accidentally clicked 'yes' to one of those goddamned 'would you like to install this' pop-ups. I was merely trying to close the window except the 'yes' button was directly behind the close button for a previous pop-up window.

I run Ad-aware and have it updated. Yet, it does not find this spyware.

I cannot figure out what running process it is.. but it basically puts a double-underlined link over certain words while I'm browsing. How the hell do I get rid of it? And, what is it called?

Ad-aware bites ass...
get spysweeper or even the new microsoft one for free.. both stay resident and wouldnt have let you do this by mistake..
either one should also be able to remove it.

Or, you know, you could also never be allowed to make a mistake like this in the first place...
