Splinter Cell playable demo is on this month's Official Xbox Magazine disc.
It kicks ass.

FWIW, an article I read quoted some source that worked on Splinter Cell as saying that the effects available on the Xbox were impossible to do on PS2..even on the Xbox they were "maxing out the CPU" and as a result had to forfeit some extra physics such as on the unconscious bodies.

Just played the demo - wow. I'm impressed - they need to add invert controls in the final version or else it will totally ruin the game
