I don't think they were ever biological in "The Amazing Spider-Man" series (those are the original Spider-Man comics) as he used cartridges all the time. Although, I believe they were in the "Ultimate Spider-Man" series, which is where the previous trilogy took it from.

Also looks like they are bringing back his humor/sarcasm more so in these. New web shooters look great as well.

It's not though. The only origin story is the original Amazing Spider-man from Stan Lee, and in that story Parker is a brilliant scientist who makes his own web shooters. Ultimate spider-man is for emo millenium babies, give us the raw uncut 1960's heron. The story that spawned this entire generation of spider-clone BS.

This is easily the worst spiderman I"ve ever seen. Horror spiderman without Venom. Really? And Doc Croc is the main villain? But the main thing is that it depicts Peter Parker as inherently dark. No. In the comics and cartoons he's an upbeat positive person.

i don't like the guy playing peter. hopefully they can pull it off. The spider-man part looks great. i love they are back to mechanical webbing. Doc Croc is a good story line. While i think Venom/carnage is far far better doc croc is a great original bad guy.

I honestly have zero interest in seeing this film. I watch all of the trailers and try to get interested, but it just does not work. Glad to see Rhys Ifans in there though, I like that guy.

Surprised at the reboot, but it looks good. Am I the only one though, who thought this was a joke at first. I honestly thought they were mocking a spiderman/batman combination movie. It reminds me of the Dark Knight styling SOOOO much.

I kind of like the bio-based web shooters though. Makes more sense with the spider DNA thing. As long as they don't use the "oh no, I'm out of web fluid" device in the movie. GOD I hated that in the comic books.

Gwen was peter's first love interest. The green goblin drops her and peter tries to save her just to fail. it has a huge emotional impact on Peter.
