It is entirely possible....and if that does prove true then a stock heatsink isnt needed...you just sell the card and the kit with it and your done.
Myself Ill end up with an air cooled version just so i can rip off the sink and modify an alpha to strap on the GPU

hell id buy one just to replace the block andways to fit my loop 😛
Im too lazy to build a manifold to distribute between my cpu and that small ass tubing on the block 😛
 
Ackmed have a good one dude. We definetly have a difference in opinion on this matter and we are not going to change each other's minds. So lets drop it and have fun with our own projects. I will give some benchmarks when I get my project done, if I ever get the card! LOL
