You can price it down to $2000 with a 1.5GHz P-M and 9700. That's very reasonable for a machine this size with an excellent screen, considering that's about the price for most similar machines with integrated graphics. I'm waiting to see the prices and options they offer in the US.

You can get it down to 1839 with a 1.4 Pentium M, 256 RAM, 60 GB HDD, DVD-ROM/CD-RW combo on the 17". Which isn't too bad...throw in 2 512s for about 280 bucks, and maybe a HDD upgrade to 60 GB 7200 RPM...then you have a pretty nice laptop!
