I love it.

Now if the lawyers from, Bobo, the Post Turtle, will allow it to be used.

So this rifle, it snips people?

It's called the X5000 MOHEL

It can successfully perform a Brit Milah** at 2,000 yards, and is greatly feared by islamic insurgents everywhere!!

**
A "Brit Milah" is name of the Circumcision Ceremony a Jewish Boy goes through. A Mohel is the religious figure who performs the Brit Milah. ...and now you know why a "Snipper" rifle is feared! < *SNIP* >

At nearly $8000 per rifle it seems severely overpriced for a fancy 300 ultramag, even civilians can get a .50BMG or .338 laupa with more range for less than half the price.

And there should be nothing preventing a civilian from buying this rifle, off course if you want the included suppressor you would have to be a class 3 permit holder.

“To ‘pure fleet’ means the Army would upgrade its 2,500 M24 sniper rifle chassis to XM2010s. The $28 million contract included the funds to allow manufacturer Remington to upgrade or produce 3,600 rifles over five years.”

Holy sh*t! That works out to roughly $7777 each!

It does seem a bit over priced but it is a government contract.

I sure would love to fire that thing. The best I ever did was using the M-14 on the KD course. I got 9 out of 10 rounds (the first one was just out) at the 500 yard line in the black.

Just fyi, there's no such thing as a Class III "permit holder". Civilians have been allowed to buy Class III armaments since 1934 for a $200 per item tax stamp. There isn't a permit, only whether or not you can meet the criteria, which is pretty much like buying any firearm, plus the $200 tax, fingerprint card x2, passport photo x2, Form I/II/III/IV and a FBI background check. The closest thing would be a SOT, which is a Special Occupational Tax stamp, which allows individuals to make Class III items for sale to military and law enforcement.
