SLI - 7900gt @ stock speeds

Now when I turn on the computer and i try to play a video, i can hear sound but see no picture. But the trick when I play fear,, and then watch a video, it comes out fine.

Anyone know the problem?
 
Any video? MPEG-2, H.264, DivX, WMV? If using Windows Media Player, try going in to Tools->Options->Performance->Advanced, and select use mixing renderer, and use high quality mode whereever you see that in the dialog (one for local file playback and one for DVDs I think).

For Media Player Classic, try View->Options->Output->Video Mixing Renderer 9 (renderless).
