I just did a build this past w/e for a friend with
this gigabyte SLI. I've never built with a Gigabyte before and it went well.
Set it up with a SATA HDD, 6800GT, 3200+ Venice retail, and 4x512MB OCZ memory. The only problem I had was that I couldn't get the SATA RAID drivers off the CD that came in the package. Totally unreadable (yet the DVD drive works fine because XP installed). So I had to download the drivers off of Gigabyte's website to a floppy and do the F6 thingy before XP install. I didn't have to do that with my own DFI build, so that threw me off.
He didn't want any overclocking, so I just ran it stock and tested a looping 3dmark05 with Prime running all night. Everything was perfect and he hasn't rang my phone with any probs, so must still be going good.
