I think this site could stand for the ATOT affect simply because I dont think I've ever seen a movie that has had such a controversial change in an actor. What I dont understand is why they didnt want to pay Brosnan, his films brought in 1.6 billion dollars worldwide. This new guy just doesn't look the part at all and I dont know how they can try to pass him off as the new James Bond.
 
Meh, I think Craig'll be fine as Bond...most people are angry because they picked a relatively unknown guy. He's got the acting ability and he brings a rougher demeanor to Bond which is fine by me...and who dictates what Bond "looks" like.

I really liked Brosnan, don't get me wrong...but sh*t happens.

Doesn't get much more badass than that.
 
ahhh people really piss me off sometime....cmon for god sake...its a freakin movie.Who care if ron jeremy or samantha fox play in the next bond movie, as long as it sell and entertain people..

I would agree...but then pictures of Eva Green's mamaries keep popping up in my head and I tend to forget who is playing Bond...who was it again?
 
I'd say about 75% of the roger moore and 100% of the brosnan and dalton movies were complete horse crap. There were a few good moments in the brosnan ones but that doesn't make them redeemable. At some point they made bond into a parody of itself. You know you are in trouble as a spy franchise if matt damon makes two better spy movies than anything you've produced for a long time. Also worth noting is that even at its worst, Alias was better than any of these crap bond movies that have come recently.
