Then buy a nano, or any other player on the market with more space, jackass.

May i ask how you felt you were contributing to this thread?

A gb is quite enough music for my purposes, after all, it does plug into a computer so i can change what's on it when i feel the need ;) I can understand that it may be not enough for some people at the same time tho :p

The shuffle is fine for running or whatever, but there are better alternatives - Namely, the new iRiver player (same size as the iriver, but with a screen) and the Mobiblu Cube (2) player (almost the same size, screen, and coolness).

The mobiblue is square, which as impractical a shape as i can imagine ;) Looks cool tho.

I don't need a screen, and i happen to like the styling of the new shuffle...

I missed the bit where i asked people to point out why i shouldn't buy it :p

I'm with ya OP, I'm pretty tempted to get a new shuffle myself. A gig of music is more than enough, you don't need to carry your entire collection around with you. Especially if you're just going for a walk, or to work out. You need maybe an hours worth of music in those kinds of situations.

And the Cube by far has to be the worst design ever. I wouldn't want to have that little jaggie thing in my pocket digging at my leg. The new shuffle has a clip built in, which makes it all the more convinient.

His post was hardly constructive to the thread. 1gb for one person might not be much, but for me where I regularly cram 2 movies onto a gig stick plus 40+ minutes of music, a gig is plenty of room.

I have friends who still only have 10 or 15gb HDDs. That's obviously not enough room for a computer, they should throw theirs away.

I listen to mine while at the gym for 1 1/2 hours...that's about 25 songs.

Do you need to have every song in existence with you all the time? What do you do that you're away from your computer for so long that you need so much more space?

Then again, I will be doing 24 hours of flight here shortly...but I'll have access to my laptop...and the ipod's battery would be dead long before I run out of music to listen to.

I refuse to have a player that doesn't at least have a screen. I have a Creative Muvo I use for the gym that is small enough and has more features (not to mention cheaper) than the Shuffle.
