New shoes suck sometimes

Bought a new pair of shoes for work. Wore them a day, and found out that the shoes are fairly narrow for my feet. They fit perfect at the store, but the width is just too narrow.

Is this common? I only buy shoes once every 1.5 years or so .....my last pair was three years old.

there is some device that fits in them. I used to put tennis balls in some of my old shoes to try to stretch them out. Try maybe soda cans or tennis balls.

great idea...ill give it a shot...

We used to have a device that fits into the shoe and can either widen it or lengthen it. Other than that, I would say tennis balls over soda cans.

You might also try buying wider shoes. www.zappos.com has a wide variety, you could also try a big and tall store. Did you have your feet measured before you bought the shoes? Wearing narrow shoes is asking for ingrown toenails, and once you start getting ingrowns, they seldom go away forever.
