Wow, Steeeeve! Miraculously, the "SFFClub Manager" is listed as Steve! Here's hoping the moderators delete this thread.

Not only do I manager the club, I own it, created all the content, and did the review.

I have nothing to hide and I am just posting a review for this new SFF Case...after all this is an SFF forum. Maybe if I were selling something then there would be a problem.

Suprisingly enough, links from Anandtech made up 40% of my traffic yesterday....so some people like it.

Not only that, Anandtech is more than welcome to post my review on their website (and even reformat it). I ask that they do put me down as an author though.

nice website steve. I'm actually thinking about putting together a cheap gaming PC in a SFF microATX case. Is there any other small mATX cases out there besides the ones listed on your website? My requirements are:

- smallest mATX case with at least one 120mm case fan, and can accomodate a regular full-size PSU and a Zalman CNPS7000B-CU/CNPS7700-CU CPU HSF

I'm looking to make a quiet SFF PC in the smallest case possible with a quite 120mm fan (or 2), Seasonic S12 quiet PSU, and Zalman CPU HSF and video card HSF. Thanks for the tips in advance.

Edit: I guess the Aspire X-Qpack is still the smallest mATX case with at least 1 120mm case fan and accomodates a full-size PSU?

Chenming 118 is the OEM for the Aspire, that's the case I have. No windows, no fancy worthlessness. That Micro-Fly case looks like a Chenming clone.

Edit:

I run a 120x38mm fan intake in rear, use Zalman 7000 cooler, and use Zalman VF700 for my video card with Antec Truepower 430W, an Audigy 2, and TV tuner card in there to boot. Unfortunately it's the smallest (hah) case that will support computers with standard parts like these... it's an obese Shuttle.

ariafrost is right. You can't get much smaller than the Qpack...the Micro-Fly is a bit bigger but I would say its worth it. While the Micro-Fly is a step up from the Qpack don't think Aspire isn't working on some new stuff *wink* *wink*

Good stuff. I am always into SFF rigs, and it looks like the beginnings of a fine site.

So, Steeeve. You're telling me Aspire is working on a Qpack Succesor? Why haven't you told me of this.

ugh, because I didn't want people to post about it and get me in trouble with Aspire :)

Didn't you read the forum post about this?

shut up, Steve is just fine posting that review. The sffclub site has been up for a while and the review is good. Since he made it, of course he can be the manager. There is no reason to delete this at all...

thanks man :) When I first read your post I thought it said "shut up steve"

Someone suggested I not make the "large" pictures the ones that load in the reviews (instead use thumbnails)...what do you guys think? The reason for making the large images in there is that when you "click to enlarge" it is already loaded....but this is not 56k friendly.

the smallest i am aware of is the upcomimg SST LC19 which would be ace with a nVidia MCP chipset and 35W X2-3800+

the SST Sugo 01-E with a SST NT06 heatsink fills the 120mm requirement as the PSU draws the air of the CPU heatsink.

AOPEN mini cube would be the smallest in my opinion, but that doesnt sport a 120mm fan. :X
