Markyshizzle, you need to answer these questions from the sticky. In addition to not knowing what the computer is for (I assume gaming), you state around $700 but then list out over $900 in parts. That needs to be tightened up a bit to make it worth our time to answer. Should be easy enough as it seems you know what you want.

Without knowing your answers to the stickied questions, I generally suggest:

    - i5 3570k: Why do you need hyper-threading?
    - ASRock Z75 mobo, $80
    - Some 7850 or 7870 GPU, unless you have something against AMD GPUs.
    - A Samsung 830 SSD, if you can afford any SSD.
    - Corsair CX430 PSU, $17AR

Thanks for the reply, i updated the initial post, thanks for the input

With that said, is the rock mobo better for my needs? SSD transfer speeds and video card compatibility is a must.

And will the 430w power supply work? Right now on newegg the case and psu i have combine to give a little discount

    As of now -

    case and psu - $100
    Graphics cards - 220
    motherboard - 109.99
    dvd drive - 20

Already own Ram and SSD as well as peripherals and Windows 8

So does the budget include only the items you have left to buy (CPU, mobo, GPU, HDD?, ODD, PSU, Case) or is it counting what you spend on the RAM and SSD?
