This size corresponds to exactly one workunit. Clearly there was a problem with the results returned from this workunit. Most commonly we receive bad results from SETI@home participants who use overclocked microprocessors in their computers; these overclocked processors tend to make errors when performing complex calculations, hence sometimes producing results with bogus signal strengths (such as the case here).
