Hi,

Just finished putting everything together, turned on the power...and nothing. Well, the power fan works, the cpu fan works, I can hear the hard drive cranking up, the case fans work.

Nothing on the video monitor (I have a matrox G450 and I pulled it out and put it back in to make sure it was in the slot), the keyboard lites don't go on, eitherand no beeping like when a pc posts.

The motherboard is a Iwill KA266. Any suggestions?

Also, if a part is just dead, how do I deal with the vendors?

Thanks.

Clay,

I just posted the same issue - put my KA266 system together last night and I get power to everything but nothing on my monitor. Check your power save menu on the monitor and see if it says No Video Signal? I have a Leadtek GTS 32M DDR video board. Something in the air last night?????

Let me know what you find out, and I'll do the same.

Good luck,
David

David,

No, nothing shows on my monitor (usually when there's no signal my green on light turns orange, but that's not happening).

There's no beep or sound coming from the speakers but the green led light on the motherboard goes on and all the drives turn on as well as the fans. I even disconnected the power from the drives and still no beepping.

Only thing I can think of is to test out the video card, if that is okay on someone else's system, then it must be the motherboard.

Hope whatever it is clears up.

Best,
Clay

Do you have 4X turned on? Turn it off and reset BIOS to default settings.

let us know how you are doing.
