Hehe, yeah in theory but I'm more concerned with practice. Until it's been tried, who knows if they've extended the cables enough?

I'd give it a go myself but I can't find any UK etailers offering the new PSU.
 
The non-sleeved S12 Seasonic's work w/ the P180. You have very liitle if any slack for the 4-pin 12v power cable but it does reach.
 
I've got a non-sleeved S-12 with my P-180 and the cables do in fact reach everything. I wouldn't mind a bit longer so I could manipulate the cables and move them further out of the way, but it works. So if the sleeved version has longer ones, you should be in good territory.
 
Thank for the replies guys, it's good to know some people aren't having any trouble. It depends very much on the motherboard and cards used in the case I suppose. I'm planning on using a Asus A8N32-SLI Deluxe with both PCIe slots filled. By all accounts the S12 cables will be too short to comfortably route around the cards to the ATX socket on the top left of this motherboard.

Any guinea pigs out there want to try the new PSU for me? 🙂
 
Well I only had to reach the top right of my motherboard, which keeps wires together because of drives, etc. But I don't think it would be much farther to the top left, you'd just have to get around your PCI/Ex cards.

Here's a pic I just snapped of mine. You can see I have enough length (even though it's messy, stillworking on the best solution for wire management)
 
well i have both the P180 and the A8N32 and just recently upgraded to a Seasonic S12 600w from an Antec SP2.0 500w. the Antec PSU was solid, but i wanted something quieter.

the version that i received yesterday was the sleeved variety. cable lengths wasn't an issue, but i do have an extension for the 4pin motherboard connection since i routed the cable around my motherboard.
