i know seasonic has been pretty popular now with their s12 series, being quiet and efficient. but one thing that had turned me off from it was its lack of sleeving and the short length of its cables. :( well, it looks like one (or both) of those is about to change! i was browsing newegg and decided to have a look at seasonic s12-600 pictures, and now they show the psu with sleeved cables :D the design of the box looks different than others i have seen as well. (pics at newegg) is this a new edition of the s12-600? does anyone have any information on this?

I for one am glad to see that. I have an S12 500 and the cables/wires are a mess.

The Seasonic M12 series is going to be released shortly. Modular cables (24p main power is still hardwired though). Should be nice when it comes out.

Mark this Dragon so you can promote your brand of choice with ease ;)

Note: The main harness is hardwired. This IS the way modular should be done.
I did buy an Enhance with the 2x4 ATX & the 24pin ATX as modular but it is better soldered.

Note: In the pics you'll see a low flow 60mm fan next to the M12's jacks. This is an EXHAUST fan and is ment to stir-up the stagnant warm air at case top.
The link states 500,600 & 700 watt flavors. I never translated or tried to read this link because Zippys rule :D

OP, I think the one you linked is a stepping stone to the M12 series. They can't have new buyers feel bad when the semi-modular units come out around late May.
