new season of simpsons

Avid fan of old simpsons....cannot sit thru episode let alone laugh once at new simpsons..

filled with lots of subliminal gay references.....who the fvck is writing this crap. cancel the show.

terrible.........homer would never say anything like that and would never say anything trying to be cliche or cheesy funny. wtf

This season has been 90% lame, but every now and then there's something clever to make me laugh. That Christmas show might have been the worst single episode in Simpsons history. I didn't laugh, didn't chuckle, don't even remember smiling a little. I might as well have been watching a rerun of Full House or She's the Sheriff. Definitely not the worst show on TV (after all, there's still SNL), just a long long long long way from being the show it used to be.

Worst show on TV? You can't be serious. It's been getting worse and worse every season, but worst show on TV? I still think Simpsons is the second best show on Sunday nights after Family Guy. And Family Guy is only in its 5th season? And look how quickly its material has fallen off in that span. After 16 or however many seasons, it's a real task to create fresh, funny material. The Simpsons writers have been amazing at making this show last as long as it has. I commend them in their work.

Even Futurama got kind of lame in its last few seasons. But yeah, Family Guy is definately the way to go these days.

While the show is not as funny as it was it is certainly not the worst show on TV.
