pull myself into the chopper right at the very end.

After trying and failing for about an hour, I finally gave up and just watched the ending on youtube.

I may just watch the ending on youtube also....i can get in the chopper.

I just can't fly it worth a crap.

Very fun game other than the frustrating ending....which I assume really had people mad at the time.

I am going to play Episodes from Liberty City.....hopefully nothing in it will be too frustrating.

Yeah, I tried to play it 3 times and never made it past the first few missions.

I loved FarCry2. Played through all 50 hours of it and was kind of sad to see it end.

Yep.

If you noticed, the screens I posted were all from areas available within the first 30 minutes of gameplay. I got very uninterested after that.


...still a beautiful game engine though, although my girlfriend's first complaint was that it lacked a lot of the colors the first game showcased. Although I guess that was Crysis was for...(why didn't they call that FarCry 2 and make the weird GTA thing they got going on with FC2 a different franchise?)

I could not get very far into Farcry 2 neither.

I tried twice....too bad too, because the gamed looked fantastic as far as graphics

Well.....I had to spawn a few helicopters to learn how to fly better....but my stubborness paid off as I was able to complete the last mission in GTA 4.

Too many pretty pics, need some old school graphics to show just how far we've come.

Before there was Halo, Bungie made one of the best 3rd person shooter/fighter I've ever played - Oni. Here I got stomped.

Combat Flight Simulator 2 - my favorite flight game.

Vampire the Masquerade. Very fun RPG in which you control a group of vampires, fighting with guns and magic to fully armored with a two handed sword. And feeding to power your magic... very cool game, sucks still is $19.99 on Steam.

You ain't kidding. Notice everyone but the Ranger and Rogue are paralyzed (the scissors icon)... and this is from an enemy insta-cast upon battle start. You just don't find encounters with this difficulty, or the Rattkin Breeders encounter, or the Treant (tree enemies) in Dark Savant anymore.
