ah yes...Well I'm going to see how the next couple of days go - what my users say. (I'm off site from the server - in another state). I did make some changes over this weekend (turned off dns on a secondary server, restarted the server) and we'll see how it goes. I think it happens to all of them but I can't be sure. From what I heard last week it's tolerable but they are getting the popup. About 5 of the users (including me) have RPC over HTTP configured (mobiles). I disabled it on 3 of them thinking that might be some RPC load.
Networking seems to be ok - I transferred a 100mb file back and forth from this server to other computers in the network - about 6 seconds. I would think a bad cable or something would either not work at all or show up as slow (lost packets).
