New SB Live limiting my OC???!?!

Well i used to be able to get a Gig by doing 105 X 9.5 multiplier but now i can only run at 102 FSB... it all started when i installed my new SB Live which replaced my old Ensoniq Audio PCI card. I really dont understand it. My computer freezes after about 8 mins of gaming in Unreal Tourn and unless i have K7 Clk at Optimal setting in the bios, i cant even finish 3dBench2000.... I thought it was the irqs but my computer seems fine now running at 102 fsb.. could it be that the SB live card doesnt like the increwsed bus speed? Any help i can get to make me run at a Giga would be REALLY helpful..... Thanks in advance!

This might sound ridiculous (and it very may well be), but try putting a heatsink on the processor of your sound card. I've heard of some website that burned out their SB-Live on an oc'ed computer playing Quake.
