Most people would consider 2000 and up to be good. I got 2200, wanted 2250 (equivelant to 1500 of old) but whatever, I'm satisfied enough. Some would say above 1800 is good, depends on your standards of course.
Generally the new score is = to the old score x 3/2, ie, and old 1200 = new 1800.
to me anything above 2000 is good to me, some colleges still don't looka t the writing part which is that extra 800 points on the new SAT. and look at math and reading which is still the 1600 points your used to
I got a 1000 on the SAT when I took it, (this was the old system). Im in community college now and that SAT score does'nt mean ****** when I start attending UCLA next year.
