Okay, so I'm "planning" on building a new pc used for gaming and other main pc duties, and I've put together a list from newegg. I'm curious to see what you experts have to say. I've done lots of research and I'm fairly up-to-date on the prices of what is out, but I'd still like to see some advice. I'd also like to note that this isn't going to happen until, at least, the end of the summer/going into the winter of 2011. Also, any recommendations on really nice monitors at 1920x1080? I'm planning on playing all the crysis games, bbc2, etc. at the highest settings possible while staying around the price of the pc below. Here are the main components. I'll be amazed if anyone answers all my questions haha ;)

i5-2500k (plan to overclock but not initially)

GTX 460 (sli in the future) orrrrrrr just go with a 560 ti instead? then sli that? http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814130571

ASRock P67 PRO3 SE

Corsair 750w PSU (Enough to sli the gtx 460's? 560's? despite minimum power difference)

Get a 120hz monitor if at all possible. If your main thing is gaming and you like shooters, you should enjoy the difference.

This would likely push you to go a little bigger with your graphics card... but if you're really looking at winter then you might be seeing the next gen push down prices on the current (much like the 5850s 5870s are recently darn cheap).

Enjoy the building.

I've been having pretty good luck so far with the Twin Frozr 560s SLIed.

Hi, what's your budget and where are you ordering parts from?

Also, that motherboard only has one x16 and one x4 pcie slot. You may want to find another one if you plan to sli. I have a single 570 and it can take pretty much anything at 1920x1080. A 6950 is another good alternative that can be had for less and performs similarly when unlocked and overclocked.

Aside from the usual gaming core pieces, your input devices are just as important. In My Experience (IME)

That means, the monitor, keyboard, and mouse.

Under $1000, and I'll probably order these parts from newegg.com

Keep in mind that the ivy brifge chips will be released or just around the corner if you stick to your current schedule so might be an idea to wait for them.

Judging from both personal experience and the high volume of posts on various boards, P67 is pretty finicky. If you go with P67 over Z68, make sure you're getting memory on the QVL.
