NEW Samuel Adams Winter 12-Pack

Montano

Lifer
Went to BevMo today to pick up another Sam Adams Winter 12-pack, and they re-did the lineup 😀

Gone is the Sam Adams Light, replaced by the excellent Sam Adams Black Lager. This makes an almost perfect 12-pack, even better

Samuel Jackson beer. It'll get ya drunk! You'll be ****ing fat girls in no time! You might even fight a ***** or two!

🙂

On topic:
I'm going to buy some of that black lager on Saturday, because that's when I turn 21.

nice! gotta run to bevmo and pick one up tonite...

LostCoast makes some awesome beers! mmmmm on the downtown brown.

Thank goodness. Those SA lights are a waste of space when I'm looking for a seasonal beer. I don't even want the boston lager in there. Throw in the double bock or maybe even the chocolate bock. 🙂

I liked their Summer Ale... but I didn't like the Octoberfest a whole lot (actually, that statement is bias because I don't like Oktoberfest in general)

I've never had their 'fest beer. I was looking around, but no one has a spare couple of bottles anywhere. It's seasonal, but it was on the shelves only 4 weeks ago. Some stale grocery store has to have some. It's still fresh till like february I think.

I really like the winterfest. It's probably not how you serve it, but I keep it in the freezer till the top crystalizes, then pop it open. 🙂

enjoyed my SA Winter Lager tonight although I prefer Oktoberfest over Winter Lager over SA Light over SA Summer Ale. Don't think I've had whatever their spring beverage is though.

To me, winter is perfect for drinking dark beers. Bass Ale, Newcastle, SA Winter Lager, SA Oktoberfest...all of what makes winter perfect for me. Need to try some dark porter or stout though. Only thing I've had that was close was Guinness, but that's not an everyday beer for me.

then Samuel Smith Oatmeal Stout is your friend 🙂

I've gotten the winter pack as a gift before. Not my favorite mix of beers. Too many nasty ones in there. Best "winter pack" I've gotten was the Saranac 12 pack.
