Hey, I just recieved this monitor as an extravegant gift from my g/f. I installed it and I got the resolution set to where it fits my screen the best but all the words on the screen look sorta...blurry...I dont know if that's the best word, but it doesn't look right. I installed the drivers from the disc but it still looks weird...is this just something that happens with lcd's? I'm confused and I don't want to be disappointed anymore...thanks

Um, so how did you solve the problem?

Not sure if this was the case for the OP, but for my dad's syncmaster, in display properties under the appearance tab, hit the button "effects" and there's an option in there that blurs text for you (they call it "smoothing" or something).

You gotta "degaus" or whatever - hit the adjust button (I think) on the monitor. I had the same issue. I'll post the exact button when I'm home.
