Hey guys I was checking out the new samsung monitor, and I would like to know if it is one of the best 19" LCD's available. Is it better than the 19" dell that everyone likes? Its specs seem to be better than the Samsung 930B that is very popular.

Samsung Website : http://tinyurl.com/9bf89

- 8ms response
- Contrast Ratio: 1000:1
- Viewing Angle (H/V): 178 / 178
- 8bit panel

It also looks very sexy.

I think may be the best available. I haven't seen the new Viewsonic Overdrive panel yet, but I like to get things from local stores that allow returns so I got mine from Futureshop in Kitchener, ON. I also prefer Samsung as a manufacturer compared to Viewsonic, but that's just my personal preference. A week before, I got the BenQ FP937s at Staples and have since returned the BenQ after seeing how much better the Samsung was. My first impressions are here:

(4th post down)

I've only had it for a couple days now, but I am more amazed each time I see it. So much so, that last night when my wife went downstairs (where the computer/laundry/bedrooms are) and I was upstairs watching TV I thought about going downstairs to make sure she wasn't going anywhere near it! My p-r-e-c-i-o-u-s!

I recommend the Hyundai L90D+, fantastic price, great quality, all I could ask for in an LCD.

There are quite a few LCD's all pretty darn close in quality, and people are always promoting what they have as being the best. So if you go by that, if you choose any of the ones people mention here such as the Hyundai, Samsung, BenQ, etc. You will have a great LCD. Make sure you buy one that you like how it looks too!

8ms Grey to Grey response times. Which means it is more like 20+ ms rise/fall response times. But that's the best you can expect for all 8bit true colour panels.
