New Rule in FS/FT maybe?

Could we please add a new rule for FS/FT that you cannot ask for "Who you owe Heatware to, who owes you Heatware, where have my evals gone to, etc."

I can't believe all these lazy people that cannot keep track of their emails and PM's and handle this privately. The board has enough clutter without seeing these every day.

When I see those threads, I make an effort tell the individual to keep better records.

Agreed.

I keep a simple log of who, what, when, where and "Heatware complete?". It's a small note pad I have handy by my pc. After the deal is done, I leave heatware and ask for a reference. I follow up if it is not done within a weeks time. Low-tech, but it works very well for me. Why is this so hard for some?!?!?!?

Common courtesy = Oxymoron

😕

I have an excel spreadsheet that I use to keep track of money going out, money coming in, heatware owed, products owed. Everything is stored right there in that spreadsheet. I even keep an extra copy of it on my other computer in case something happens to the original.

Good Idea Hank, and maybe add to that no more "Hey I had you ship your 300.00 item first because you had no heatware but I forgot who to send the money too because I was too irresponsible to keep track of my transactions. Glad you were stupid enough to ship first to someone who doesnt know better... please keep this at the top till the unfortunate individual finally logs in and notices he will never get his cash unless he contacts me again!" Kind of posts.. sheesh!

Oops! Sorry about that. I thought the brand new in the box Radeon 8500DV was a birthday present. Did I say I would pay for that? I should start writing stuff down....

😀

Sounds good to me! Can I give heatware to you fro your great ideas? 😀

I always considered it an unwritten rule, I have seen the MODS deal with it before on an indivual basis. I think it would be A good rule.

I agree, but I have recently made several trades and have asked the people several times to pust heat on our deal, but to no avail.
